| The photos and reviews on this site are strictly used for purposes of sharing the hike memories with those who were on the outing, to provide a description of the hike for those who skipped it, and to encourage others to get out and hike with the group. Photos are taken on each outing. Janice, a co-creator of the site, has the choice of what photos and captions will appear on the site. The reviews are written by the hike leader, and contain a recap of the hike, the first names of the participants, and an occasional quip or quote from or pertaining to a hiker, especially if they are new to the group. If for any reason you do not want your photo or anything other than your first name to appear on the site or in the review, please let Janice, Kathy, or the hike leader know. | |

OK, so I am the one that sat on my duff most of last year. That would explain the extra
weight that I am huffing around with me. I am going to think really hard about hiking this
year and if I also think about the blubber, I might actually get out on the trails. Try not
to scream too loud when you spot the elusive web mistriss and her extra baggage. You don't
want to scare the wildlife. I am adding to my New Year's Resolutions:
"I WILL go hiking at least once every month in 2008."
I won't be alone and, guess what, I did meet someone worth getting to know last year while hiking!
It could happen to you! And what could be more fun?
Remember to bring your camera and send me the photos so they can be added to our website. Please email me if you have a particular hike that you would like to do and we can see where it will fit into the schedule. It's the Pacific Northwest, we hike rain or shine and sometimes snow!
